Text

(A)The state cosmetology and barber board shall issue a temporary pre-examination work permit to practice barbering to an individual who applies for and is eligible to take an examination conducted under section4709.07of the Revised Code, if the individual satisfies all of the following conditions:
(1)The individual has not previously failed an examination conducted under section4709.07of the Revised Code.
(2)The individual pays to the board the applicable fee.
(3)The individual satisfies all other conditions established by rules adopted under section4709.05of the Revised Code.
(B)An individual issued a temporary pre-examination work permit under this section may practice barbering until the date the individual is scheduled to take an examination under section4709.07of the Revised
