Text
(A)The state cosmetology and barber board may adopt rules in accordance with section4709.05of the Revised Code to establish a continuing education requirement, not to exceed eight hours in a biennial licensing period, as a condition of renewal for a barber license, barber instructor license, or assistant barber instructor license.
(B)If the board establishes a continuing education requirement under division (A) of this section, an individual holding a barber license, barber instructor license, or assistant barber instructor license shall satisfy the requirement by completing a continuing education program approved in accordance with division (B) of section4713.62of the Revised Code.
