NEW DEEDS TO PURCHASERS OF STATE LANDS (EXCERPT) Act 61 of 1935 322.551 New deeds; issuance by state. Sec.
1.Any person or the heirs, executors, administrators or assigns of any person who has made a good faith purchase of land from the state of Michigan and received from the state a conveyance purporting to pass absolute title to said land, shall be entitled to a second conveyance by the state if it shall be found that, at the time of the original conveyance, title to the land was vested in the United States and that the title has been subsequently acquired by the state from the United States.
