§ 5-73-106 — Defacing a firearm

(a)A person commits the offense of defacing a firearm if he or she knowingly removes, defaces, mars, covers, alters, or destroys the manufacturer's serial number or identification mark of a firearm.
(b)Defacing a firearm is a Class D felony.
