Text
(a)There is established a fire department civil service
commission in each incorporated municipality maintaining a paid
fire department and having a population of four thousand (4,000)
or more.
(b)The governing body in each incorporated municipality
maintaining a paid police department and having a population of
four thousand (4,000) or more which has not established a civil
service commission may establish a police department personnel
system in a manner as the governing body determines.
