Text
(a)This article shall not apply to:
(i)Any person that exclusively employs persons on an
employer and employee basis for the performance of real estate
appraisal services in the normal course of its business and the
employer is responsible for ensuring that the real estate
appraisal services being performed by its employees are being
performed in accordance with Uniform Standards of Professional
Appraisal Practices;
(ii)A department or unit within a financial
institution that is regulated by a federal financial institution
regulatory agency, or is regulated by an agency of this state,
that receives a request for the performance of an appraisal from
one (1) employee of the financial institution, and another
employee of the same financial institution assigns the request
for the appraisal
