(a)Certified general classification. As a prerequisite
to taking the examination for a permit to practice as a
certified general real estate appraiser, an applicant shall have
successfully completed a minimum number of classroom hours of
courses in subjects related to real estate appraisal from a
nationally recognized appraisal organization or a college or
university as prescribed by the appraisal foundation in rule and
approved by the board.
(b)Certified residential classification. As a
prerequisite to taking the examination for a permit to practice
as a certified residential real estate appraiser, an applicant
shall have successfully completed a minimum number of classroom
hours of courses in subjects related to real estate appraisal
from a nationally recognized appraisal organization
