Text
(a)The board shall:
(i)Receive applications for permits and
certification;
(ii)Establish the administrative procedures for
processing applications;
(iii)Maintain a registry of the names and addresses
of people certified and issued a permit to practice under this
act;
(iv)Retain records and all application materials;
(v)Repealed By Laws 2007, Ch. 184, § 3.
(vi)Issue to each permittee a permit in the size and
form as it may approve. The permit shall remain the property of
the state, and, upon suspension or revocation of the permit to
practice pursuant to this act, shall be returned immediately to
the board;
(vii)Require criminal history record background
checks on applicants for permits under this act, excluding those
who apply for temporary permits.
