24:2-4. The local board of health may designate from among its registered environmental health specialists one or more registered environmental health specialists who shall perform the duties relating to food and drug inspection required under R.S.24:2-1 et seq. The local board may also appoint one or more food and drug analysts. Amended 1997, c.416, s.2.
