18A:71C-10. Deduction of Overdue Student Loan Payments From Wages of Employees of the State, Institution of Higher Education and Public Authorities. Whenever any officer or employee of the State of New Jersey, a public institution of higher education in this State now or hereafter established or authorized by law, any independent institution of higher education in this State now or hereafter established that receives State funds, or any public authority established pursuant to State law, has failed to make scheduled payments to the Higher Education Student Assistance Authority on any note held by that authority pursuant to N.J.S.18A:71C-6, there shall be deducted from the wages of the employee the full amount of both any arrears payment and any schedule payment due to the Higher Education
