Text
The effectuation of the authorized purposes of districts
organized under this act shall and will be in all respects for
the benefit of the people of the state of Wyoming residing
within the district, for the increase of their commerce and
prosperity and for the improvement of their health and living
conditions; and since the districts will be performing essential
governmental functions in effectuating those purposes, the
districts shall not be required to pay any general (ad valorem)
taxes upon any property acquired or used by them within the
boundaries of the district. The bonds issued by any district,
their transfer and the income therefrom shall be free from
taxation within the state, except for estate taxes.
