Text
In addition to the other means providing revenue for such
districts, the board shall have power and authority to levy and
collect general (ad valorem) taxes on and against all taxable
property within the district. No district shall levy a tax to
exceed eight (8) mills on the dollar in any one (1) year, except
for the payment of its public debt and the interest thereon.
