§ 24-3-190 — Appropriation of balances for the Department.

South Carolina·Title 24 CORRECTIONS, JAILS, PROBATIONS, PAROLES AND PARDONS·Ch. 3 STATE PRISON SYSTEM

The balance in the hands of the Department of Corrections at the close of any year, together with all other amounts received or to be received from the hire of inmates or from any other source during the current fiscal year, are appropriated for the support of the department.

Effect of Amendment The 2010 amendment deleted "State" before "Department of Corrections", and substituted "inmates" for "convicts" and "department" for "penitentiary".
