The tax commissioner shall administer sections5727.80to5727.95of the Revised Code and may adopt such rules as are necessary to administer those sections.  Upon request of the tax commissioner, the public utilities commission shall assist the tax commissioner by providing information regarding any natural gas distribution company or electric distribution company that is subject to regulation by the commission.
