§ 202. Money actions and actions to recover chattels.\n Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the court shall have\njurisdiction of actions and proceedings for the recovery of money or\nchattels where the amount sought to be recovered or the value of the\nproperty does not exceed $3000.\n
