§ 269. Salary of clerks to justices of appellate division of first and\nsecond departments.
1.Each of the clerks appointed pursuant to section\nninety-six of this chapter by the justices of the appellate division of\nthe first and second departments shall receive as salary a sum to be\nfixed by the justices of each appellate division.\n 2. Except as provided in the state finance law, each of the presiding\njustices of the appellate divisions of the first and second departments\nshall certify such salaries to the state comptroller who shall audit the\nsame. The state department of taxation and finance shall pay such\nsalaries in equal biweekly installments, and shall apportion the total\namount of each department among the counties comprising each judicial\ndepartment.
