§ 262. Compensation of clerks to judges of court of appeals. The\nclerk appointed by each judge of the court of appeals shall be entitled\nto a compensation to be fixed by such judge, not exceeding four thousand\ndollars a year. The compensation herein provided shall be paid monthly\nby the department of taxation and finance upon the certificate of the\njudge.\n
