§ 104. Power of justices of appellate division in first department to\nappoint stenographers for the supreme court. The justices of the\nappellate division of the supreme court in the first department, or a\nmajority of them, must appoint, and may at pleasure remove, a\nstenographer for each part or term of the supreme court.\n
