§ 1 — Short title
§ 1. Short title. This chapter, together with amendments thereof,\nshall be known as the "banking law", and shall be applicable to all\ncorporations, partnerships and individuals defined in the next section\nand to such other corporations, unincorporated associations,\npartnerships and individuals as shall subject themselves to special\nprovisions thereof, or who shall, by violating any of its provisions,\nbecome subject to the penalties provided therein.\n
