§ 1001. Definitions. In this article, unless the context otherwise\nrequires:\n 1. "Corporation" means and includes all banks, trust companies, safe\ndeposit companies, investment companies, mutual trust investment\ncompanies, and, to the extent not provided otherwise under any\nregulation of the superintendent of financial services promulgated\npursuant to the provisions of section fourteen-e of this chapter,\nstock-form savings banks and stock-form savings and loan associations.\n 2. "Director" means any member of the governing board of a\ncorporation, whether designated as director, trustee, manager, governor,\nor by any other title. The term "board" means "board of directors".\n 3. "Foreign corporation" means a corporation which is licensed by the\nsuperintendent under the provisi
