  § 20-a. Search warrant in aid of the commissioner of agriculture.  A\nsearch warrant, in the name of the people, directed to a police officer\ncommanding him to search for dairy products, imitations thereof and\nsubstitutes therefor, to open any place of business, factory, building,\nstore, bakery, hotel, tavern, boarding house, restaurant, saloon, lunch\ncounter, place of public entertainment, carriage, car, boat, package,\nvessel, barrel, box, tub or can, containing, or believed to contain the\nsame, in the possession or under the control of any person who shall\nrefuse to allow the same to be inspected or samples taken therefrom by\nthe commissioner of agriculture, a deputy commissioner or any person or\nofficer authorized by the commissioner or by the agriculture and markets\nlaw or

A\nsearch warrant, in the name of the people, directed to a police officer\ncommanding him to search for dairy products, imitations thereof and\nsubstitutes therefor, to open any place of business, factory, building,\nstore, bakery, hotel, tavern, boarding house, restaurant, saloon, lunch\ncounter, place of public entertainment, carriage, car, boat, package,\nvessel, barrel, box, tub or can, containing, or believed to contain the\nsame, in the possession or under the control of any person who shall\nrefuse to allow the same to be inspected or samples taken therefrom by\nthe commissioner of agriculture, a deputy commissioner or any person or\nofficer authorized by the commissioner or by the agriculture and markets\nlaw or to which access is refused or prevented, and to allow and enable\nthe officer mentioned in section fifty-one of the agriculture and\nmarkets law applying therefor to take such samples of dairy products,\nimitations thereof and substitutes therefor, found in the execution of\nthe warrant, as the officer applying for the search warrant shall\ndesignate when the same are found, shall be issued by any court to which\napplication is made therefor, whenever it shall be made to appear to\nsuch court that such person has refused to permit any dairy products,\nimitations thereof or substitutes therefor, to be inspected or samples\ntaken therefrom, or that access thereto by any officer mentioned in\nsection fifty-one of the agriculture and markets law has been refused or\nprevented, and that such officer has reasonable grounds for believing\nthat such person has any dairy products, imitations thereof or\nsubstitutes therefor in his possession, or under his control, or that he\nis violating any of the provisions of the agriculture and markets law\nrelating thereto. The provisions of article six hundred ninety of the\ncriminal procedure law shall apply to such warrant as far as applicable\nthereto. The officer to whom the warrant is delivered shall make a\nreturn in writing of his proceedings thereunto to the court which issued\nthe same.\n
