§ 7.05. Executive director.

1.The executive director heretofore\nappointed by the commissioner of education to be the head of the New\nYork state summer school of the arts shall continue in office. The\nexecutive director shall hold office at the pleasure of the commissioner\nof education and shall be subject to such rules and regulations as he\nmay prescribe.\n 2. The commissioner of education may appoint such deputies, directors\nand other officers, teachers, employees, agents, consultants and special\ncommittees as he may deem necessary for the proper implementation of\nthis article, prescribe their duties, fix their compensation and provide\nfor reimbursement of their expenses within the amounts available\ntherefor by appropriation.
