Text
Every steam and water power company organized under the laws of this State may enter upon any public highway, street or alley and erect poles on the same to sustain the necessary wires and fixtures, and alter, inspect and repair its system of distribution. No such company shall enter upon any street or alley of any city, borough or township until after the consent of the governing body thereof shall have been obtained. Amended by L.1962, c. 198, s. 171.
