Text
Each probation officer, before entering on the duties of his office, shall take an oath of office to be administered by one of the judges making the appointment. Each probation officer or employee who collects or has the custody of money shall execute a bond in a penal sum, to be fixed by the judges, with sufficient sureties approved by them, conditioned for the honest accounting of all money received by him as probation officer. The accounts of all probation officers shall be subject to audit at any time by the board of chosen freeholders. L.1951 (1st SS), c.344.
