6.In the event that nonpublic school students who reside in a municipality that comprises the new district were not eligible for pupil transportation services pursuant to N.J.S.18A:39-1 prior to the effective date of P.L.2009, c.78 (C.18A:8-43 et al.), then any nonpublic school student in that municipality shall be ineligible for pupil transportation services following the merger pursuant to section 2 of this act. L.2009, c.78, s.6.
