18A:8-12. Within 15 days after the filing of the answers to the petition, the Commissioner of Education shall hold a hearing thereon at the request of any interested party and shall consider the effect of the proposed separation upon the educational and financial condition of both the new and remaining districts on the basis of the allegations of the petition and answers and of any other factors which might have been alleged in the answers as hereinbefore provided. amended 2015, c.95, s.1.
