The amounts authorized to be raised for annual or special appropriations, or for interest, or for the redemption of bonds shall be certified by the board of education of the consolidated school district to the county board of taxation, which shall apportion such amounts among the taxing districts, comprising the former constituent school districts from which the consolidated district was constituted in the proportion that the apportionment valuation, as defined in section 54:4-49 of the Revised Statutes, of each taxing district bears to the total apportionment valuations within the consolidated school district and the amount thus apportioned to each taxing district shall be assessed, levied and collected in the same manner and at the same time as other taxes are assessed, levied and collec
