18A:8-33. The board may appoint a suitable person, except a member or employee of the board, as treasurer of school moneys and may fix his salary, and he shall give bond in such amount, according to such terms, as are required by law, of treasurers of school moneys of school districts, and with such surety as the board shall direct. The board in its determination of the amount shall be guided by a schedule of minimum limits to be promulgated by the State board. amended 2010, c.39, s.5.
