Text
A well drilled for the production of oil or gas which is incapable of producing oil or gas in commercial quantities shall be plugged unless written permission is granted by the department to do otherwise. If the department finds that a well should be plugged or repaired, it shall notify the permittee to that effect by order in writing and shall specify in the order a reasonable time for compliance. L. 1985, c. 432, s. 13, eff. Jan. 13, 1986.
