Text
Whenever the federal government shall make available to the state special grant of funds for construction or improvement of highways in the state by the terms of which grant the state is not required to make matching appropriations, the commissioner of transportation is authorized to accept such grants and to take such action as may be necessary to secure to the state the benefit of such grant.
