LOSS OR DESTRUCTION OF PUBLIC RECORDS (EXCERPT) Act 52 of 1944 (1st Ex. Sess.) 561.16 Fireproof structure for storage of public records; requirement. Sec.
16.The state administrative board, before releasing any appropriations to a county for expenses authorized or required under this act, may require that there be erected a suitable fireproof structure for the storage of public records, the plans for which have been approved by the bureau of fire services created in section 1b of the fire prevention code, 1941 PA 207, MCL 29.1b.
