Text
(a)Except as provided in subsection (b) of this section, the court may issue an order under sections 52-619 to 52-646, inclusive, only after notice and an opportunity for a hearing that the court deems appropriate in the circumstances.
(b)The court may issue an order under sections 52-619 to 52-646 , inclusive:
(1)Without prior notice if the circumstances require issuance of an order before notice is given;
(2)After notice and without a prior hearing if the circumstances require issuance of an order before a hearing is held; or (3) After notice and without a hearing if no interested party timely requests a hearing.
