Text

All notices of rules and writs issued under the provisions of this chapter shall be directed to a proper officer and served by leaving a true and attested copy with the defendant at such time as the court or judge directs; and such court or judge may prescribe a reasonable time for the appearance of the parties. See Sec. 52-65 re service upon nonresident in a quo warranto case.
