§ 52-367c — Execution against lottery and pari-mutuel winnings.

(a) Notwithstanding any other provision of the general statutes, on application of a judgment creditor or his attorney, stating that a judgment remains unsatisfied and the amount due thereon, and subject to the expiration of any stay of enforcement and expiration of any right of appeal, the clerk of the court in which the money judgment was rendered shall issue an execution against any winnings of the judgment debtor pursuant to chapter 226 or 229a, as the case may be. The execution shall be directed to (1) the State Comptroller who shall withhold any order of the State Treasurer, or (2) the president of the Connecticut Lottery Corporation, as the case may be, for payment due from winnings pursuant to chapter 226 or 229a to such judgment debtor until the judgment is satisfied. (b) The Connecticut Lottery Corporation may establish a reasonable fee for any administrative expenses associated with executions made pursuant to subsection (a) of this section, including the cost to the Connecticut Lottery Corporation of any fee that may be imposed by the clerk of the court. The amount of the fee shall reflect the direct and indirect costs of processing the executions by said corporation.
