Text
(a)In any civil action to establish parentage or to establish, modify or enforce child support orders in temporary family assistance cases pursuant to sections 17b-745, 46b-86, 46b-215, 46b-231, 46b-560, 46b-569 and 46b-570, the court may allow the state, when it is the prevailing party, a reasonable attorney's fee.
(b)The provisions of subsection (a) of this section shall not be deemed:
(1)To create a new cause of action against any individual; or (2) to confer any new jurisdiction upon the Superior Court in any action against any individual.
