The owner or user of a boiler or pressure vessel required by this chapter to be inspected by the chief inspector or his or her deputy inspector shall pay directly to the chief inspector, upon completion of inspection, fees as prescribed in rules and regulations promulgated by the secretary. Pressure vessel certificates of inspection fees shall not exceed ten dollars ($10) annually. The chief inspector shall transfer all fees received to a separate fund in the State Treasury to the credit of the department for its operation. All funds, pursuant to this chapter, deposited in the State Treasury shall be appropriated by the Legislature to the Secretary of Labor pursuant to the Budget Management Act and Article 4 of Chapter 4 of Title 41.
