Text
The persons so appointed shall be designated as viewers and they
shall be sworn by some person or officer authorized by law to
administer oaths before entering upon their duties, and they
shall file their oaths in the office of the county clerk. They
shall not be confined to the precise matter of the petition but
may inquire or determine whether an industrial road in the
vicinity is required.
