Text
The court to which the report is made shall determine the
proportion of the existing indebtedness which the new county
shall bear under the provisions of W.S. 18-1-316 after deducting
the new county's proportionate share of the value of the public
property, money and credits of the original county. The court,
if any of the public property is located within the limits of
the new county, may apportion its value to the new county, and
shall order the board of county commissioners of the new county
to issue warrants in the amount of their proportionate share
payable to the original county when the new county's
proportionate share of the indebtedness and interest is due. The
proportion of indebtedness of the new county is a lien upon the
taxable property of the new county.
