(A)There is created a multidisciplinary Domestic Violence Advisory Committee composed of:
(1)the Attorney General of the State of South Carolina, or a designee, who serves ex officio;
(2)the Director of the South Carolina Department of Social Services, or a designee, who serves ex officio;
(3)the Director of the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control, or a designee, who serves ex officio;
(4)the Director of the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy, or a designee, who serves ex officio;
(5)the Chief of the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, or a designee, who serves ex officio;
(6)the Office Director of the Office of Substance Use Services, or a designee, who serves ex officio;
(7)the Office Director of the Office of Mental Health, or a designee, who

HISTORY: 2015 Act No. 58 (S.3), Pt IV, SECTION 20, eff June 4, 2015. Code Commissioner's Note At the direction of the Code Commissioner, certain references in the S.C. Code to the State Department of Mental Health, South Carolina Mental Health Commission, Department of Disabilities and Special Needs, Department of Disabilities and Special Needs Commission, Department of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Services, and other related terms were changed to reflect the restructuring of these agencies into component offices under the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, pursuant to 2025 Act No. 3, SECTION 18. Pursuant to 2017 Act No. 96, SECTION 14, the reference to "State Office of Victim Assistance of the Office of the Governor" in (A)(11) was changed to "Office of the Attorney General, South Carolina Crime Victim Services Division".
