§ 28-7-4. Labor relations board — Creation — Appointment, qualifications, terms, and removal of members.

(a) There is created in the department of labor and training a board to be known as the Rhode Island state labor relations board that shall be composed of seven (7) members who shall be appointed by the governor, by and with the advice and consent of the senate. Each member of the board at the time of appointment shall be a citizen of the United States and a resident of the state of Rhode Island, and shall be a qualified elector in the state. Three (3) members of the board shall be representatives of labor, three (3) members
