In accordance with rules adopted under section4758.20of the Revised Code, the chemical dependency professionals board may administer examinations for individuals seeking to act as substance abuse professionals in a United States department of transportation drug and alcohol testing program. If it elects to administer the examinations, the board shall use examinations that comprehensively cover all the elements of substance abuse professional qualification training listed in 49 C.F.R.40.281(c)(1) and are prepared by a nationally recognized professional or training organization that represents the interests of those involved in substance use disorder counseling services.
