§ 305. Reimbursement of state overpayments. The commissioner shall\nkeep adequate records of the amount of the payments made by the state in\nconnection with each contract concerning a municipal project authorized\nby this article and the amount of the federal assistance actually\nreceived for such municipal project. Such records shall be retained so\nas to establish a basis for application by the commissioner for\nreimbursement to the state of payments made by the state in excess of\nthe recalculated state share of the project cost. The commissioner is\nhereby authorized to make such applications in appropriate cases.\n
