§ 301. Definitions. Whenever used in this article, unless a different\nmeaning clearly appears from the context: 1. "Mass transportation\ncapital project." The acquisition, construction, reconstruction or\nimprovement with federal assistance of any rapid transit, railroad,\nomnibus, marine transportation or other mass transportation capital\nfacility and any capital equipment used in connection therewith.\n 2. "Municipal project." Any mass transit capital project undertaken by\na municipal corporation.\n 3. "Federal assistance." Funds available, other than by loan, from the\nfederal government to any municipal corporation, either directly or\nthrough allocation by the state, for any mass transportation capital\nproject.\n 4.
