§ 219-c. Operating authority. As used in this article, the term\n"metropolitan transportation authority" shall mean the authority and its\nsubsidiaries, the Long Island railroad, metro-north railroad,\nmetropolitan suburban bus authority and Staten Island rapid transit\noperating authority, of the Triborough bridge and tunnel authority, and\nof the New York city transit authority and its subsidiary, the Manhattan\nand Bronx surface transit operating authority, or any other agency that\nmay come under the control of the authority, or within their custody or\ncontrol.\n
