§ 59-B — Purchase or acquisition of lands; payment of purchase price

§ 59-b. Purchase or acquisition of lands; payment of purchase price.\nThe commission shall cause an appraisal to be made of just compensation\nto the owners of the lands and the structures and waters thereon,\nappropriated by the state as hereinbefore provided, and of the estates\nand interests therein of all persons, corporations or municipalities.\nThe commission shall negotiate with the owners of such property for the\npurchase thereof, but in no case shall an amount greater than the\nappraised compensation for such property be paid. The commission and\nthe persons, corporations and municipalities whose property has been\nappropriated and who have agreed upon a compensation to be paid\ntherefor, shall enter into an agreement for the conveyance or transfer\nof the property appropriate
