§ 340. Resolutions to be adopted at the meeting for incorporation. In\norder to incorporate under this article, the meeting shall adopt the\nfollowing resolution by a majority of its qualified voters, present and\nvoting, to wit:\n Whereas, this congregation was founded and established, and thereby a\npermanent trust was created, for the purpose and intent of adhering to,\nmaintaining and promoting religious worship and teaching according to\nthe communion, doctrine, discipline, rite, canon law, traditions and\nusages of the Byelorussian Autocephalic Orthodox Church; and\n Whereas, such purpose and intent and the trust thereby created can be\nfully effected and safeguarded only in complete canonical unity with\njurisdictions and in obedience to bishops acknowledged and certified by\nth

Said clergymen trustees' term of office shall continue until\ntheir successors in said office are elected by the governing\necclesiastical body of the Byelorussian Autocephalic Orthodox Church,\nand said laymen trustees' term of office shall be that fixed by statute.\n
