§ 324. Amendment of certificate of incorporation. It shall be lawful\nfor any incorporated United Methodist church, by a two-thirds vote of\nthe members present and voting at a regularly called meeting of the\ncorporation, to alter or amend its certificate of incorporation in any\nmanner not inconsistent with the provisions of this chapter or the\ndiscipline of The United Methodist church; and such alteration or\namendment shall become operative when the amended certificate of\nincorporation shall have been executed, acknowledged and filed as\nprovided for in section three hundred twenty-three of this article.\n
