§ 15. Judge of court of record not disqualified because a resident or\na taxpayer. A judge of a court of record is not disqualified from\nhearing or deciding an action, claim, matter, motion or proceeding, by\nreason of his being a resident or taxpayer of a town, village, city, or\ncounty, interested therein.\n
