* § 170-b. Racial references contained in state and municipal forms.\nNo form or preprinted document utilized by a state agency or public\nauthority or by a municipality shall use the term "oriental" to identify\nor denote persons of Asian or Pacific Islander heritage. Any form or\npreprinted document utilizing such term shall be amended no later than\nJanuary first, two thousand ten to replace the term "oriental" with the\nterm "Asian" or to otherwise refer to such persons as being Asian and\nPacific Islander persons having origins in any of the Far East\ncountries, South East Asia, the Indian subcontinent or the Pacific\nIslands.\n * NB There are 2 § 170-b's\n
