§ 170-A — Celebration of Rosa Parks; bus companies
§ 170-a. Celebration of Rosa Parks; bus companies.
1.For purposes of\nthis section, the terms "bus company" and "bus line" shall have the same\nmeanings as set forth in subdivisions two and three of section two of\nthe transportation law.\n 2. On February fourth, two thousand eight and every February fourth\nthereafter, a day of commemoration designated as "Rosa Parks Day"\npursuant to section one hundred sixty-eight-a of this article, every bus\ncompany operating a bus line in this state may reserve and keep empty\none seat on each bus placed in service by such bus company in honor of\ncivil rights activist Rosa Parks.\n 3.
